Hey Blue Crew,
Another busy week in the hobby, with Palworld’s first official card game release getting very close, new One Piece products being revealed, and some major Topps releases landing this week.
Here’s what is happening and what we have coming up at BLUE FLAG.
PALWORLD LAUNCH IS ALMOST HERE
The Palworld Official Card Game launches worldwide on Thursday, 30 July, with the first booster release and trial decks arriving together.
The official Palworld card game has also already passed 3.5 million packs sold worldwide before release, so there is clearly serious interest building around this one.
BLUE FLAG’s launch allocation is already selling quickly, and availability is becoming limited as we get closer to release.
We will be streaming live from 11:00 pm Tuesday night for a special midnight-release Palworld rip-and-ship.
We will open orders live in the lead-up to midnight, then start ripping as soon as the official release begins.
Keep an eye on our Whatnot page and socials for the full show details and available products.
NEW ONE PIECE ANNOUNCEMENTS
Bandai announced the next One Piece booster set, OP-17: The World’s Strongest Warriors, during the past week. New card lists were also published for the six upcoming Starter Decks, including Red Monkey D. Luffy and Green Roronoa Zoro.
The six Starter Decks, along with Illustration Boxes Vol. 7 and Vol. 8, are currently scheduled for release on 31 July 2026.
We will keep watching Australian allocations and pricing before confirming what BLUE FLAG will carry.
ONE PIECE MARKET UPDATE
General One Piece products have shown a noticeable downturn in price and demand as collectors begin looking ahead to the upcoming OP-17 Anniversary Set.
That does not mean the wider One Piece market is collapsing.
Attention and spending often shift toward the next major release, particularly when an anniversary set is involved. That can temporarily soften demand for older and currently available products.
For collectors, this may be a good opportunity to pick up boxes, singles and sealed products at discounted prices.
It is a time to buy carefully, not panic sell.
Strong characters, desirable alternate arts, established chase cards and genuinely scarce sealed products can still hold long term collector appeal, even when the wider market slows down.
TOPPS RELEASE WATCH
Topps has two significant releases scheduled this week:
2026 Topps Chrome Baseball
2026 Topps Chrome Disney Sapphire Edition
Both are listed on the official Topps release calendar for Wednesday, 22 July, although release dates can change.
Disney Sapphire will be one to watch closely. Sapphire products normally attract strong early collector interest, but we recommend waiting for confirmed Australian supply and pricing rather than chasing inflated early listings.
POKÉMON UPDATE
Pokémon released Mega Evolution—Pitch Black on 17 July, led by Mega Darkrai ex. Products include Elite Trainer Boxes and six-pack Booster Bundles.
The next confirmed releases include:
-
First Partner Illustration Collection Series 3 — 7 August
-
Mega Forces Tin — 28 August
-
Pokémon 30th Celebration Ultra-Premium Collections — 6 November
The 30th Anniversary products will likely receive plenty of attention, but allocations and Australian retail pricing still need to be confirmed.
ACCESSORIES ARE COMING TO BLUE FLAG
We have officially partnered with Palms Off Gaming to bring their premium Australian card-storage and protection range to BLUE FLAG.
That means we will soon be able to offer sleeves, binders, storage and other accessories alongside our cards and breaks.
This is not changing what BLUE FLAG is. It simply means we can give the community access to quality accessories without needing to shop somewhere else.
THIS WEEK’S LIVE SHOWS
The main event this week is our Palworld midnight-release rip-and-ship.
We will be live from:
11:00 pm Tuesday night
We will build into the official midnight release, with Palworld products available to purchase and open live.
Any additional breaks, giveaways or limited-spot shows will be announced through Whatnot and our socials.
A QUICK MARKET NOTE
Palworld launch stock, Disney Sapphire and the newly announced One Piece products are all generating attention, but early asking prices are not the same as genuine market value.
We will continue focusing on confirmed Australian supply, realistic pricing and completed sales rather than feeding release-week hype.
The current One Piece slowdown may create some strong buying opportunities, but collectors should still focus on quality products and sensible prices rather than buying simply because something appears discounted.
THANK YOU, BLUE CREW
BLUE FLAG continues to grow because of the people supporting the shows, buying through the store, sharing our posts and helping build the community.
We are here to enjoy the hobby, open great products and give collectors a fair place to buy—not chase every dollar out of every release.
Check the BLUE FLAG website and Whatnot page for available stock, upcoming breaks and Palworld updates.
We will see you live from 11:00 pm Tuesday night for the Palworld midnight release.
