BP01 update

Important clarification: Wave 2 does not mean 2nd Edition or even necessarily a reprint. “Wave 2” is retailer and distributor language for a second shipment or allocation. It can simply be more stock from the original production run that was held back, delayed or shipped later.

Bushiroad has confirmed that additional BP01 stock is already on the way. Separately, it has said that an actual 2nd Edition print run is still being planned. These are two different supplies of product.

The current Wave 2 stock reaching Australia and New Zealand appears to remain First Edition with the original “PALWORD” error. A New Zealand retailer that has already received its Wave 2 stock confirmed the packaging was unchanged.

Japan has announced another First Edition shipment for late September. However, Bushiroad has not confirmed whether that batch will retain “PALWORD” or use corrected “PALWORLD” packaging. Anyone claiming either outcome as confirmed is currently guessing.

Bushiroad has officially stated that the spelling error on the boxes and packs will be corrected in future reprints. This means the eventual 2nd Edition should use “PALWORLD,” although no release date or distinguishing features have been revealed.

Current Wave 2: likely original PALWORD stock, confirmed in NZ

Future 2nd Edition: expected to be corrected

No official changes to the cards, foil colours, pull rates or rarity treatments have been announced. I’ll post another update as soon as confirmed packaging photos or further official details appear.
